Di Lieto: Reviews & Ratings
I actually just got a coffee but want to share that my Oat Cappuccino was only £2.80! Best value coffee anywhere in London. If I had more time I would have sat in as the seating area looked lovely. The shop is crowded at lunchtime and shelves overflowing with Italian groceries but it adds to the charm. The smell of the bakery was so morish. Lots of people speaking Italian which helps with the idea the pizza slices would be good.
Authentic Italian! I only popped in to use the bathroom and left with pizza and pecan slice but what fantastic food it was and cost very reasonable I think. Food quality five stars easily and service very friendly. A lot of places don’t let many people use the bathroom these days and fact that this place did that’s automatically high marks in my books just for service even before I purchased anything. I respect that and definitely they’ve earned a new customer in me. For both items cost me £4.30 and as I say that’s very very reasonable for all it’s worth especially considering the quality being that good.
I’ve already been here three times this week for lunch. Thankfully, I don’t live or work nearby—otherwise, I’d probably be here every day! This place offers a taste of authentic Italian home cooking, reminiscent of the dishes our grandparents used to prepare. The flavors are rich and genuine, bringing back memories of traditional meals made with love and care. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If I had to point out a minor flaw, it’s that the pasta isn’t homemade. However, this doesn’t detract from the overall quality and passion evident in every dish. To top it all off, they offer a selection of truly delicious homemade baked goods—so tempting it’s hard to choose just one!

Pizza lovers need not look any further. Mick Jackson praises the return of their exquisite pizzas, described as the finest on this side of the river. Coupled with fresh, wholesome ingredients and a delicate balance of flavors, these pizzas stand out as a highlight. Equally notable is the pecan slice and other baked treats, sweet endings crafted with the same care as savory dishes.
What sets Di Lieto apart is not just the food but the service and spirit. F1 Ology’s experience echoes this, noting the friendly staff and generous hospitality—letting customers use the restroom freely is a small gesture that speaks volumes about their respect and customer care. It’s clear that Di Lieto values its patrons beyond transactions, building community through sincerity and quality.
